Superior was founded in 1987. After getting my first 440 Kawi in 1983, I was hooked on stand-ups. I started making JET SKI stands for all my friends, and turned it into a business. I supply many hi-performance shops, and one of the largest Sea-Doo dealers in the world. I now have 6 different style stands(only 3 for mail order though). Also knowing how to sew, I bought an industrial sewing machine, and started making custom naugahyde pad kits, and re-upholstering Sea-Doo, and then later, other PWC seats. Some of my work has been in Splash, and Personal Watercraft magazines. Noting a need for aftermarket parts, as all the factory name dealers only like to sell their "stock parts", I became an authorized independent dealer for HOT PRODUCTS and WHITE BROTHERS. Over the years in the PWC industry, I have met many of the all time "GREATS" In 1979 I met Eric "the Legend" Gustaffson, at California Jetski, in Redlands, CA. He even introduced me to his good friend, Clay Jacobsen, the "inventor" of the Jetski, at a local race. Other aqquaintences include Glenn Perry and Kenny Stuart from SKAT-TRAK, Steve Stricklin (1/2 of the once famous L&S Engineering), Art and Robert from JETWORKS (Newport Beach-Ca), Glenn Dickinson of the world famous R&D Racing, John Myerscough-FORCE Motor Products, Bob Cohen-GOODTIMES RACING, Roger Winegar-FIREBALL RACING, Bob Kline-Sapphire Ski Works, Aaron Davis-ADR, to name a few.
